How do I determine if I am a candidate for laser surgery? You must:
"If I have good distance vision and would like to eliminate glasses for reading, am I a candidate for laser vision correction?"
"Can I have Laser Vision Correction after I have had cataract surgery?"
If you have had cataract surgery with insertion of an intra-ocular lens (IOL) and you still need glasses for distance vision, you may be a candidate for laser vision correction. Although cataract surgery is a covered expense with insurance companies, laser vision treatment to enhance your out come is not.
"Can I have laser vision correction after I have had Radial Keratotomy?"
It is possible, but not likely.
